Meet Our Team
Joe LaBoon
Owner/Founder
Joe was born and raised in Atlanta. He and his wife, Michelle, met while students at West Georgia College back in 1973, and they married in 1978. He started working in the appliance industry a year after he got married and went on to start Georgia Kitchens in 1990. He and his wife two sons and four grandchildren. Joe was inducted into the West Georgia Athletic Hall of Fame in 1988 for his records in the decathlon.
After a mission trip to Haiti in 2017, he made the decision to begin participating in the Young Life Global Developing Global Leaders program and sponsored his first student in 2017. That young woman has gone on to graduate college and they continue to sponsor young people in college through this incredible program.
Joe LaBoon III
Managing Partner
Joe started with the company working summers on the delivery/installation truck. After graduating college, Joe returned to the family business in 2005 to resume his role in the field. Working in the field, Joe gained experience in not only appliances but plumbing, electrical and ventilation as well. In 2009, he was moved inside to gain sales experience and to help oversee day-to-day operations. Today, Joe is married with two children and lives in Flowery Branch. He enjoys golf and spending time with his family. With a combined almost 20 years of experience, Joe is ready to assist you with your new build or renovation needs.
Tyler Christopher
Managing Partner
Tyler brings almost two decades of appliance experience to the table at Georgia Kitchens. He has a management background and knows that helping customers is his calling. He has a personal relationship with every customer that meets with him and treats every order like his own kitchen. Tyler became a first-time father to a baby girl in 2019 and has found that he’s more passionate than ever. Alongside his wife, Brittany, he enjoys family life in his hometown of Alpharetta.
Abby Kelly
Sales/Social Media Specialist
Abby grew up in rural Georgia at Lake Oconee. With her Papa being one of the first custom home builders at Lake Oconee and a founding member of LOABA (Lake Oconee Area Builders Association) it is no wonder her passion and expertise in construction are at the forefront of every new build or remodel project. After obtaining her Masters of Science in Agricultural Economics at Mississippi State University, Abby has put her magic touch on many personal kitchens along with helping her clients achieve the perfect kitchen.
When Abby isn’t busy turning kitchen dreams into reality, you’ll find her at the ball field, cheering on her son Brayden, or embarking on exciting adventures with him and their two loyal labs, Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane. Abby cherishes her time with her horses, finding solace and joy in caring for them and competing in rodeos. Her love for the outdoors and adventurous spirit shines through in every aspect of her life, making her a dynamic and passionate member of the Georgia Kitchens team. Gerard Butler
Sales
Gerard Butler is your friendly neighborhood high-end appliance specialist. With four years of experience in the industry he has become something of a connoisseur when it comes to high end appliances. Gerard graduated from Mill Creek High School, It’s here that he cultivated his passion for excellence and developed a strong work ethic.
Now, let’s talk football – specifically, our beloved Falcons. Gerard feels most at home in the electric atmosphere of game day at Mercedes Benz stadium, cheering on his team with other faithful Falcon fans. But his love for football doesn’t stop there. When he is not busy helping customers find the perfect appliances, you can often find him on the flag football field, channeling his inner athlete and competing with friends, as It’s a great way to stay active, blow off steam, and indulge in some friendly competition.

Josh
Accounting
Josh is the accounting manager at Georgia Kitchens. He earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Kennesaw State University and gained most of his professional experience working at local tax and investment firms in the greater Atlanta area. Josh has worked regularly with Georgia Kitchens since 2016 in a consulting capacity but was brought on full time at his current position in 2021. Outside of his accounting work he is a skilled whitewater kayaking instructor with an almost unblemished participant safety record and enjoys hiking and camping in the beautiful wilderness areas of North Georgia and the Southeastern US.
Austin
Appliance Installation Specialist
With over a decade of experience in the appliance industry, Austin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every project he undertakes. As a Certified Subzero, Wolf, and Cove installer, he is dedicated to ensuring that your installation job is executed with the utmost care and precision. In addition to his extensive experience in the appliance industry, Austin is also a military veteran. His time in the military instilled in him a strong sense of discipline, integrity, and attention to detail, qualities that are reflected in his work ethic and approach to customer service.

Corey
Warehouse Manager
Corey Christopher joined the Georgia Kitchens team in the summer of 2020. As our industry faced supply chain issues during the pandemic and backordered product became the norm, Corey was able to bring his years of supply management experience to our operations, expanding our capacities to provide excellent products and service to our customers as promised and on schedule. He quickly settled into his role as Logistics Manager overseeing our warehouse inventory and operations, install and delivery scheduling, order management and tracking, and sales operations for our track builder customers. He is constantly working behind the scenes to help make your dream kitchen a reality from the day selections are made until the day of install.
Grace
Administrative Assistant
I was born and raised in Georgia. I live with my mom, my older brother and his girlfriend, and my younger brother in Buford with our two dogs. Currently, I’m studying Criminal Justice at Georgia Gwinnett College while working here at Georgia Kitchens. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, and trying out new recipes.
Lucy
The Shop Dog
Lucy is our beloved, Golden Retriever who brings joy to everyone she meets. With her wagging tail and affectionate nature, Lucy’s favorite pastime is greeting customers and brightening their day. This food-loving pup has a heart of gold and a nose for treats. You’ll often find her lounging near the snack aisle, eagerly awaiting a tasty tidbit or a belly scratch.
