Your New Kitchen Can Give a Kid a New Life

Buying a kitchen with us is more than an investment in your home. You are changing a young person’s life. You’re giving someone a future.

Change Your Kitchen. Change A Nation.

One Life At A Time

Through Young Life’s Developing Global Leaders (DGL) program, Georgia Kitchens proudly sponsors DGL students who are making a transformational impact in their local community while earning a college degree. This is our way of changing the world one child at a time.

For many DGL students, the opportunity to go to college helps end the cycle of poverty. It transforms lives, families, entire communities and even nations.

Meet "Mr. Joe" Laboon

Owner of Georgia Kitchens & DGL Sponsor

When Joe Laboon traveled to Haiti in 2016, he met promising young people volunteering with Young Life in the local community. Seeing the impact of the DGL program making a way for students to pursue a college education, grow as leaders and help end the cycle of poverty, he decided to become a DGL sponsor.

Today, he sponsors eight Young Life DGL students and hopes you will also consider sponsoring a student somewhere in the world.

You can find out more about DGL sponsorship from any staff member at Georgia Kitchens or go to dgl.younglife.org.

Thanks to sponsors like Georgia Kitchens and generous individuals like you, DGL students have the opportunity to:

1

Study at a 4-year college or university in their own country

2

Receive ongoing leadership training

3

Volunteer with youth in their local community

4

Be mentored by experts in their field of study

Message From Joe Laboon

“My hope is that others will join me in this opportunity to provide a university education to someone who otherwise couldn’t dream of college. I’m not sure whose life has been more..the students’ or my own.”
